Limit Congress to 2 terms: 1 in office, 1 in jail

No one has been able to explain to me why young men and women serve in the U. S. Military for 20 years, risking their lives protecting freedom, and only get 50% of their pay.
While Politicians hold their political positions in the safe confines of the capital, protected by these same men and women, and receive full pay retirement after serving one term.
It just does not make any sense.

Forget the politicians. Their job is to get re-elected in perpetuity, not save the country. They do that by buying votes with other people’s money. Only an engaged (and suitably enraged) citizenry has the power to turn around the ship of state — to reassert the American values of self-reliance and hard work over those of the European welfare state the Left has been busily trying to impose for decades.
