Galit Couture

A native of Ukraine, Galit has become known for her signature opulent evening and bridal gowns rendered in silks, satins and lace. Her desire to create stunning fashions came to her early on and as a girl she made her own doll’s clothing. She went on to develop her skills and knowledge of the fashion industry first in Europe, then in Israel, and finally in the United States where she launched Galit Couture in 1997.

Galit's designs have appeared in Contemporary Bride magazine and she was the focus of a recent article in The New York Times. She participated in Couture Fashion Week, in New York. Melissa Hunter, an actress; Fox reality TV star of Joe Millionare and TV host, chose one of her dresses to wear on the Oscar Red Carpet in 2007.

“I enjoy working with my clients, and want to make them as happy and comfortable as possible” says the designer. With her broad knowledge base and natural talent, Galit strives to make her clients' dreams come true. In addition to her own bridal boutique, Galit's designs are available at high-end boutiques in New York, Michigan, California, Moscow and Baku.
